The Muse Concept

Muse: A Space for Connection, Growth, and Healing

Research shows that the number one predictor of a long and happy life is having warm social connections. Muse is a unique space where individuals can build those connections while also working toward personal and professional goals.

Muse blends individual wellness with community engagement by offering a beautiful, welcoming environment for both professional services and social gatherings. From dance and painting classes to knitting circles, mental health workshops, and wellness retreats, Muse nurtures mental, physical, and social well-being through approachable and affordable programming.

Our services include arts-based clinical mental health therapy grounded in research, massage therapy, and a range of community events focused on health and connection. We aim to foster a strong community presence through workshops, social dance events, and creative group activities that promote joy, self-expression, and mutual support.

With a focus on fun and holistic health, Muse is designed to engage the body, enrich the mind, inspire the soul, and support healing and personal growth. More than a wellness center, Muse is a place where people come to feel whole, forge meaningful relationships, and be truly inspired.

The problem:

Loneliness is a Public Health Crisis

  • The #1 predictor of a long, happy life is warm social connection.

  • Yet modern society fosters isolation, stress, and burnout

  • Mental, physical, and social health are often treated separately — leaving people fragmented.

  • One in five adults live with mental illness in the USA, making it one of the most common health conditions.

  • Negative stigma creates discomfort around mental health conditions and prevents some from seeking services.

The Solution:

Muse: A Space to Heal, Connect, and Grow

  • A beautiful, welcoming environment that blends professional wellness services with creative community events.

  • Supports the whole person — mind, body, and soul.

  • Builds lasting social connections while promoting personal and collective well-being.

A Holistic Menue of Services:

With a myriad of services housed together, there is increased sense of privacy as others would not know if a client is visiting Muse for a massage, art class, mental health counseling, or even sitting in the inviting space to do work (and in the future enjoy coffee or tea).
By incorporating the arts, massage, group and individual sessions, and social events, there is a diverse approach one’s health concerns, and with this, an increased chance of building a relationship to facilitate meaningful change within an individual while also creating many opportunities for meaningful social connections to form (an element which is often lacking in other establishments, despite it being a crucial element of well-being).

Meet the team that breathes life, healing, and joy into Muse

Principle Member

Founder and primary therapist: Jenny Eish, LPCC, R-DMT, Somatic therapist, internationally recognized dance artist, Dance Masters of America certified dance instructor

Founding member, Jenny Eish is a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC), registered dance/movement therapist (R-DMT), and somatic therapist.  Due to her licenses, insurance can be accepted for individual as well as group therapy sessions and workshops, which helps connect to a broad client base. She has experience with a wide age range as well as diagnoses and is also a member of multiple dance communities in the greater Cleveland area.

Her history with working internationally and maintaining connections will support drawing in guest therapists and instructors from around the globe. She will lead a team of local licensed professionals, including fellow mental health counselors, licensed massage therapists, somatic movement therapists, and professional dance instructors and qualified local artists.

Skilled Team Members

Gokhan Baltaolgu: massage therapist perusing training in advanced therapeutic massage techniques.  Passionately driven to support clients in understanding how their body connects to overall improved health, and addressing a variety of conditions through the healing power of massage, Gokhan’s warm hands and big heart help him connect to clients and create a safe, enjoyable environment to unwind.

Crystal Merkly: personal assistant to Jenny Eish and the primary organizer of community events and workshops. With experience as a residential and commercial relator, Crystal is a master of networking, researching, and pulling together many elements while efficiently maintaining concise documentation.

Once a location is secured other members of the team will be added. There is interest from a somatic movement professional who would like to relocate to the Cleveland area from Texas to join this team. Another dance/movement therapist is currently in the process to become fully licensed and wishes to join the team along with a local, established art therapist. There are currently two licensed dance/movement therapists in the Cleveland area, and soon to be three, but Jenny Eish is the only one with full dual licensure to accept insurance, and the remaining two are interested in joining the Muse team, which would make Muse the home of all licensed dance/movement therapists in the Cleveland area.
